Logistics - Relocations

Updated over 2 months ago

πŸ’‘ Through a relocation in Logistics, you can transfer products between your own stock locations or to a sub-location within the same stock location.

πŸ’‘ You can also relocate products from your own stock location to an external stock location.

πŸ’‘ Link stock locations to a company and address in advance:

  • Own stock locations are linked to your own company. The selected address determines whether the stock location falls under excise duty suspension.

  • External stock locations are linked to the customer's company. Again, the address determines whether the location falls under excise duty suspension.

πŸ’‘ More information on creating a stock location or linking a company to a stock location can be found in this πŸ‘‰ guide.

πŸ’‘ More information on the allowed movements can be found in this πŸ‘‰ guide.

⚠️ Products moved from your Warehouse/AGP to the warehouse will be cleared and included in the AC4-/Excise declaration.

⚠️ For products moved from your Warehouse/AGP to an external Warehouse/AGP, an eAD will be prepared under Customs - eAD Shipments.

⚠️ Dutch customers of Douano can also move products from the warehouse to the AGP, which will lead to a refund of excise duties in the Excise Declaration.

General Information

  • Source stock location: the stock location from which the goods should be moved.

  • Destination stock location: the stock location to which the goods should be moved.

πŸ’‘ These can be both internal and external stock locations. This allows you to move goods to an external location where beer is brewed, where bottling takes place, or goods are in consignment.

πŸ’‘ The destination stock location can also be the same as the source location for moving goods to a specific sub-location within that stock location.

  • Date: the date the movement is performed.

  • Transport method: the transport method used for the movement.

  • Note: you can optionally enter a reason for the movement here.

Excise Information

  • Movement without eAD between warehouses/AGPs under the same excise permit: if you have multiple warehouses/AGPs under the same excise permit, you can check this box. This allows you to register a movement in Douano without creating an eAD.

πŸ’‘ If the stock locations are linked to a company and address, Douano will automatically recognize this as a movement under the same excise permit, and the box will be checked automatically.

πŸ’‘ If the movement is from your own Warehouse/AGP to an external Warehouse/AGP, an eAD will be prepared under Customs - eAD Shipments. For more information on eADs in Douano, you can refer to this πŸ‘‰ guide.

  • ARC: the ARC number or Administrative Reference Code number listed on the eAD document.

Stock Items

  • Product: the product to be moved.

  • Required quantity: the total amount of this product that needs to be moved, expressed in the unit of the product (pieces, liters, kilograms, etc.).

  • Picked quantity: the number of items picked from the selected stock item.

πŸ’‘ Using the split icon, it is possible to split the ordered quantity across multiple stock items/batch or lot numbers. The total picked quantity must equal the required quantity.

  • Stock item: the specific stock item that was or will be picked.

πŸ’‘ When selecting a stock item, the dropdown field shows the batch or lot number, the expiration date, the available (non-reserved) quantity, and the sub-location of the stock item.

  • Sub-location: the sub-location within the destination stock location where the moved goods will be stored. This is an optional field.

πŸ’‘ You can now confirm the transaction to immediately execute the movement. Alternatively, you can save the movement and confirm it at a later time.
