How to proceed a refund in DRCT

For bookings issued in DRCT on Lufthansa Group airlines, you can make an automatic refund in two clicks. Additionally, this feature is available for bookings on Turkish Airlines and LOT, providing a broader range of airlines for seamless processing.

Prerequisites

  • Remove Check-In: Before processing a refund on any ticket, ensure the check-in has been removed. This step is mandatory to avoid errors during the refund process.

Detailed instruction

  • Open the issued reservation in the “Bookings” section using the reservation number or passenger's name. After the time for void has expired, the “Refund” button will appear in the booking.

  • Click “Refund” to see the amount to be refunded and confirm the refund.

    • The refundable amount will be calculated for all passengers in the reservation.

    • The refund window will display the refund amount for the fare, fees, and penalty according to the fare rules.

  • Click “Return" if you do not want to refund the ticket or "Proceed refund ” if you want to make a refund on the ticket.

  • After confirming the refund, the reservation is automatically canceled in DRCT. The refund will be displayed in the “Sales” section.

Limitations

  • Airline Specific: The self-service refund functionality in DRCT is available only for select airlines. Supported airlines include the Lufthansa Group, Turkish Airlines, and LOT. Ensure that your booking falls under one of these airlines for the process to work seamlessly.
