About This Tutorial
Your studio's information is located in your Studio tab. This tutorial will take you from the top all the way through to the bottom of that page.
If you wish to skip around you can click on any of the titles in the Table of Contents and you will be taken directly to that section.
Go to Your Studio Tab
The first thing you need to do is go to your Studio tab. Once there you can follow along with the rest of this tutorial.
To get to your Studio tab:
Log in to your Duet account: https://duetpartner.com/login
Click on your name > Settings. Located at the top right corner of the webpage.
You will be taken directly into your Studio tab.
Add Your Studio Name
The first thing you see is the Studio Name field. This is where you fill in your studio's/business name.
Your Studio Name will show up at the top right of your Duet screen.
It will also show up in the invoices you create.
Changing Your Username and Password
Next, you will see your Username and a way to change your Password. By default, your username is going to be the email address you signed up with. However, you can change the username to anything you wish.
If you wish to change your password here is the rule: passwords are case sensitive, so "mypassword" is different from "MyPassword". Otherwise, there are no other rules on what your password can be.
Add Your AddressThen you will come across the Address fields. The address you type in here will show up on your invoices.
A sample invoice:
Newsletter Email AddressNext, you will see your Email address again. This is the email that Duet uses to send you communications about your account. You can change the email address or choose not to receive these emails.
Note: Changing the email here does not effect your username.
This is also the email address that will show up when you create invoices.
Add Your Phone Number(s)
Next, you will see a place to add a Phone number.
If putting in a cell phone number, make sure the middle field is set to Cell, and make sure to choose the correct phone carrier. Without the correct phone carrier text messages, such as those saying a lesson has been created, will not be sent.
You can also choose to show this number to your students by checking the box labeled "Show to logged in students." Note: all three fields need to be filled out to be able to check this box.
To add additional numbers click on + Add phone number.
Enabling ZoomNext, you will see a box that enables you to start a Zoom session through your Duet studio. You can skip enabling Zoom if you wish.
If you need to sign up for a Zoom account, do so HERE.
To set this up:1. Check the box labeled Enable Zoom Meetings.
2. Go into your Zoom account and create a recurring meeting (if you don't already have one). This mimics creating a permanent meeting room.
3. While still in your Zoom account, find the meeting room's URL.
4. Copy and paste your Zoom meeting URL into the field below.
Upload Your Studio's LogoNext, you will see an area to upload your studio's logo. To do this:
1. Click on Upload Image text.
2. Choose the file you want to use and then click on the Open button.
Your logo is now uploaded.
