EarnBetter hosts ~7 million jobs on our platform. You can access all of our jobs from the "Find Jobs" tab on our website -- you can look through (1) the recommendations that we've generated for you OR (2) you can search for jobs on your own.
Once you find a job you're interested in applying to, we will generate "custom docs" for you for free.
What does "custom docs" mean?
Our AI tool will tailor a resume and cover letter for you for this specific job -- this will be based on your resume, experience and the job description that you're applying to.
Put differently: our AI tool will parse through the job description and pull out relevant information that you will be prompted to add into your resume + cover letter.
Your customized resume and cover letter should help you stand out from the crowd of applicants.
The process to create custom docs takes ~30 seconds and it's completely free.
Step 1: Select a job you're interested in and click "Generate Custom Docs".
For this example, let's act like I want to apply for a Pricing Analyst Role at McKesson - and I want to generate custom docs for this job.
Step 2: Select which resume to use as the base for the custom resume.
Pick the resume that is best aligned with the job that you're applying for. So if you're applying to an "Operations" role, you should select an "Operations" base resume.
For the sake of this example, I'm selecting my "Data Analyst" base resume.
Step 3: Select keywords + skills to add to your resume.
Our AI tool will parse through the job description and pull out relevant keywords and skills that you will be prompted to add into your resume + cover letter.
You will need to click on the keywords and skills that you want to add to your resume and cover letter.
Only add keywords and skills if you have experience with these things.
In the first screenshot below, you can see I've decided to add 3 different keywords: Pricing, Analysis and Project Management.
In the second screenshot below, you can see I've decided to add 2 different skills: Financial Acumen and Data Analysis.

Step 4: You now have a Custom Resume + Cover Letter!
Within ~30 seconds, you'll have a custom resume and cover letter -- tailored based on your background and for this specific job.
In the screenshot below, you can see your Resume and Cover Letter for the Pricing Analyst Role at McKesson.
You can click on the thumbnail or title of the resume or cover letter to open/view either document.
This is also how you would make any edits to either of the documents.
You can download your custom documents by clicking the "download" button.
Step 5: View Updates to your Custom Resume (and make any edits if you want).
If you want to view the changes that our AI tool made to your resume or cover letter, simply open them by clicking on the thumbnail (or clicking on the title of the document).
The keywords and skills that were added by our AI tool will be highlighted in blue.
These are items that were mentioned in the job description and are relevant for the role you're applying for.
You'll also see relevant keywords and skills that were already on your resume highlighted in green.
If you want to make any updates to your custom resume, click "content" or "design" in the top right corner of the resume. For a full article on how to edit a resume, click on this support article.
Step 6: View Updates to your Custom Cover Letter (and make any edits if you want).
Similar to the custom resume, you should also click into and review the custom cover letter we generated for you. You'll want to make sure everything is accurate and it resonates with you.

Step 7: Download your Custom Docs (and how to access in the future).
Boom - now you're ready to download your custom docs and use them to apply to the job you're interested in!
You can download your custom docs from the job card (see screenshot in Step 4) or once you click into the actual documents.
You can also access these custom docs anytime in the future as they will always be saved in the "Custom Docs" section of your "Documents" tab -- you can navigate to "Documents" once you login to EarnBetter.com.

The most common download issue is on mobile devices. If you are on a mobile device, ensure you are accessing EarnBetter directly via your browser (instead of inside of another application like Gmail, TikTok or Instagram).
If you are inside of another application, please navigate directly to https://earnbetter.com from a new browser, login and you should be able to download your files.
The documents will be saved to whatever your default location is set up on your mobile device. Many third party applications like TikTok or Instagram remove the ability to download.
