When someone finds your business on Google Search or Google Maps, they can tap Book or see your tickets, and land straight on your booking page. You set this up in your Google Business Profile. It is free, and it works on every plan!
There are two ways, depending on your business. Do the one that fits.
First, pick the page to link
Link to the page where your calendar is, not your homepage.
For most stores, that is the product page for your service. It has the Select a time button on it.
If you put the calendar on its own page, use that page. See How to take bookings on any Shopify page.
Open the page in your browser and copy the address from the top. Tip: add this to the end of the address to see Google bookings in your reports: ?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=business_profile.
Option 1: Add a Book button
For appointments, consultations, fittings, salons, classes and most services.
Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile.
Search for your business name on Google. In the panel that appears, select Edit profile.
Select Booking. On the Google Maps app, select Edit profile, then Booking.
Select Add link, paste the address you copied, and select Save.
Google checks the link before it shows. This usually takes a few minutes, sometimes longer.
If a booking provider you no longer use is listed, select Booking, then Remove Provider. Providers must remove their link within 5 days.
Way 2: List your tickets and activities
For tastings, tours, workshops, attractions and other experiences. Google offers this to attraction businesses and tour operators, so it depends on your business category.
Go to your Business Profile and select Tickets or Activities.
Select Get started.
Enter the ticket or activity name, the price, and the Booking URL. Use the product page for that experience.
Select Save, then Done.
Add one entry per experience. The price you enter must match the price on the page, or Google can hide the listing.
What your customer sees
They tap Book or your ticket on Google, land on your page, pick a time in the calendar, and check out as normal. The booking shows in Easy Appointment Booking like any other booking.
Good to know
Cost: nothing. Google does not charge for the link and takes no commission.
Plan: any plan. The calendar itself follows your plan as usual.
Booking inside Google: not yet. The link takes the customer to your store to finish the booking.
Keep it current: if you change a price or retire a service, update the Google entry too.
