Policy for the reviews left on experiences

Updated over 3 months ago

At Eatwith, we highly value user feedback and experiences shared through reviews. Our commitment to transparency and fairness is reflected in the guidelines we've established to ensure the integrity of our review system. Here's a summary of the key points:

  • Discretion in Review Publication and Removal: We exercise full discretion in publishing or removing reviews to maintain credibility and authenticity.

  • Personal Experience Requirement: Reviews must be based on the reviewer's personal experience with Eatwith. Third-party reviews are not allowed, and only booking owners can post reviews.

  • Appropriate Review Content: We strive for a positive and respectful community. Reviews violating our content guidelines will be removed:

    • False Reviews: Evidently false or inaccurate reviews are removed with appropriate evidence.

    • Inappropriate Language: Reviews containing abusive language, discriminatory remarks, or threats are not tolerated.

    • Groundless and Personal Allegations: Baseless accusations are removed.

    • Mistaken or Erroneous Reviews: Reviews with factual errors will be taken down upon request.

    • Promotion of Competitors: Reviews promoting competitors are not published.

    • Endorsement of Illegal Activities: Reviews supporting illegal activities are promptly removed.

    • Sensitive Information: Reviews containing private information are not published.

    • Error-Induced Negative Reviews: Negative reviews caused by Eatwith errors are addressed and rectified.
