  1. Rigorous Approval Process: To become an eatwith host, every individual undergoes a rigorous approval process led by our Community Team. As part of this process, hosts are required to validate their identity through our system.

  2. Direct Communication: Our internal messaging system allows direct contact with hosts, making it easy for guests to inquire about specific details, dietary preferences, or anything else that matters to you. If you have a question before booking, visit the experience page, click 'privatize and customize event' in the 'other options' section, and send a message to the host. Remember to uncheck the private event option.

  3. Visual Insights: To paint a vivid picture of your upcoming experience, a number of photos are uploaded of your host's home, surroundings, and the mouthwatering meals that will be prepared during your experience. These visuals give you a glimpse of what to expect when you arrive.

  4. Guest Reviews: Guests' reviews are invaluable indications as to what type of experience you can expect from a host. When viewing an experience on our website, you can read past customer's reviews under the "What to expect" section. If there are no reviews, it does not mean that the host is not legitimate, it may simply mean that they just recently joined our community of excellent hosts. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to your host. 

  5. Easy Reporting System:  If you ever encounter any concerns or wish to bring attention to a specific host, we encourage you to reach out to us at support@eatwith.com. We take every issue seriously and act promptly to address any potential problems.

  6. Our Guarantee: While it's unlikely, if any unexpected problem arises with a host, you can rely on our commitment to your satisfaction and safety. In such rare cases, we will look thoroughly into the case, provide you with a refund, and take the necessary steps to ensure that the issue does not arise again.
