Showing Appreciation for Your Eatwith Host

Updated over 3 months ago

While tipping isn't the norm on Eatwith, the choice is ultimately yours. Many of our experiences are located in cities where tipping is not expected, nor mandatory. However, If you strongly feel that a monetary tip aligns with your gratitude, you can certainly do so. However, the focus on creating memorable experiences through cultural exchange and shared meals remains at the heart of Eatwith.

Many guests choose to express their gratitude through gestures that enhance the shared experience. Consider bringing a bottle of wine, a small gift, or a token of appreciation that resonates with the culture. Additionally, leaving a positive review after the experience is a fantastic way to show your host that you enjoyed their company and their offerings!
