Your plan, price, history and settings are all kept, and nothing changes until you choose to turn on the new features — new capabilities like Automation are off by default. You don't need to re-approve billing — you're already set up.
If you were on a special legacy price, it's preserved: a price that differs from the current plan list is your kept price, not an error. If you had the annual plan ($119/year), it stays active and the new version doesn't charge you anything on top of it. It keeps running until you choose one of the current plans — the new plan then replaces it. The annual plan can't be chosen again once you switch.
