Accessing the AD Editor
Navigate to the file page.
Click on Edit, then select Edit Audio Description.
The AD Editor will open, displaying three main panels:
Video Player (left): Play the video and review audio descriptions in context.
Audio Track Panel (bottom): Visualize audio and AD tracks for precise navigation.
Transcript Panel (right): View and edit the text of the audio descriptions.
Features and Tools in the Editor
1. Top Toolbar (right side):
Undo/Redo: Revert or reapply changes.
Change Voice: Select from available voices.
New Description: Insert new AD segments for additional descriptions.
Preview: Test edits before saving.
Save & Exit: Save changes and return to your Home Page.
2. Transcript Panel (right side):
Edit Text: Click any segment to modify the description directly.
Switch Modes: Toggle between Standard and Extended AD for specific segments.
Shorten Script: Automatically remove extra details to simplify the description.
3. Audio Track Panel (bottom):
Navigate through tracks and visualize AD timing.
Color Coding: Purple represents Standard AD; blue indicates Extended AD.
Zoom: Adjust the view to see the entire track or zoom in for finer edits.
Cursor Control: Click anywhere to place the cursor or move AD blocks by dragging.
Scroll: Use your mouse or the blue cursor bar at the bottom for precise navigation.
