Echo Labs' Canvas Studio Integration makes it simple to caption your Canvas Studio content with Echo Labs. To get started, you'll need to activate the Canvas Studio integration in your Echo Labs Account.

First, ensure that Canvas Studio is available under the integrations section of your Echo Labs Dashboard. If you don’t see it listed, reach out to us at customersupport@el.ai, and we'll help you enable it.

You're now ready for setup. Follow the steps below:

** Make sure you are using an account with site-wide administrator permissions.

1. In Canvas Studio, navigate to the Captioning Services section in the Settings.

2. Click on “Connect”, and enter “Echo Labs” as the service name.

3. You will now have an API key and Secret key. You’ll use these in the next step.

4. Now, navigate to the Canvas Studio Integration Page in your Echo Labs Dashboard

5. Enter the credentials from the previous step as well as the URL for your Canvas Studio instance. Click “Save”.

6. You successfully completed the Canvas Studio setup! You can now use the integration to caption content on Canvas Studio using Echo Labs.

For Echo Labs to caption your content, you will need to request the captions directly from Canvas Studio. To do so:

1. Choose the file you want to caption and go to the “Captions” under the file. Then, click on “Request”.

2. Select “Professional” and choose “Echo Labs” as the service type. Click “Request”.

3. Within 15 minutes, the video will be imported into your Echo Labs dashboard, and will be listed under the Canvas Studio Integration Page.

4. Once the video is captioned, the status will be updated in this page, and the captions will be automatically uploaded to Canvas Studio.
