Echo Labs' Panopto Integration makes it simple to caption your Panopto content with Echo Labs. To get started, you'll need to activate the Panopto integration in your Echo Labs Account.
First, ensure that Panopto is available under the integrations section of your Echo Labs Dashboard. If you don’t see it listed, reach out to us at customersupport@el.ai, and we'll help you enable it.
Initial Setup
** Make sure you are using an account with site-wide administrator permissions.
1. Go to the “API Clients” section of the System Settings in Panopto.
2. Click “New” and enter the following information exactly:
Client URL:
https://dash.el.aiCORS Origin URL:
https://dash.el.aiRedirect URL:
https://dash.el.ai/oauth2/panopto/callbackPost Logout Redirect URL:
https://dash.el.ai
3. Once you click “Create API Client”, credentials will pop-up, including:
The Client ID
The Client Secret
4. Keep this window open and go back to your Echo Labs dashboard > Integrations > Panopto.
5. Add your Client ID and Secret, and your domain.
** The domain should not contain any slashes, or “https://”.
For example, if the homepage of your Panopto instance is “https://echolabs.hosted.panopto.com/Panopto/Pages/Sessions/List.aspx”, the domain is “echolabs.hosted.panopto.com”.
What's next?
1. For Echo Labs to caption your content, go to the Panopto Integration Page, and click “Connect Panopto”.
2. This will open a page in Panopto to log in if not already logged in. You might need to authorize the connection.
** The “Edit API Client” button is only available to admins.
3. Select the folder to import videos from by clicking on the folder.
4. Select videos to import to Echo Labs, and click on the "Import" button.
