How to Upload a Document to the Data Room

  1. Navigate to the Data Room of the chosen Fund.

  2. Click on the "Upload" button.

  3. In your file finder, select one or more files that you want to upload.

  4. Click "Open" in the file finder.

After you upload your document, it will be hidden from investors while we process the watermarking. You can track the status of watermarking on the document in the watermarking column (note the column is only visible to Portal Owners and Admin users).

  • "Please Wait" means we are processing the watermarking on the document and it is hidden from all users except Portal Owners and Admins. Once processing is completed, the document will move to “Active” or “Failed”.

  • "Active" means watermarking is enabled and functional on your document. In this state, it is shown as normal according to its permission level settings.

  • “Failed” means watermarking has failed on the document, in this state it is hidden from all users except Portal Owners and Admins. For more information on what to do when watermarking fails, please see this article.

  • “Disabled” means watermarking has been disabled on the document by unchecking the “Watermarking” checkbox in the edit document form (accessible by right clicking the document in the data room and selecting “Edit”). In this state, it is shown as normal according to its permission level settings.

  • "Not applicable" will be shown on documents where watermarking is not possible (file type is not a PDF). In this state, it is shown as normal according to its permission level settings.
