Completing a Product Control Report (PCR)

Updated this week

A PCR (or Product Control Report) is completed per production to ensure quality and label checks are completed for all produced items.

Completing a PCR

  1. In the sidebar navigate to Production > Production Planner and click the ‘Product Control’ button for the relevant date.

  2. Identify the current production and click ‘Review’.

  3. From the dropdown, select the Bench you would like to review

  4. You will be shown a table view of the products that were planned to be made by that bench

  5. If required you can change who is recorded as making the product using the dropdown

  6. Input how many of the product have been made in the 'Made' box

  7. Input how many of the product have been rejected in the 'REJT' box

  8. Once you have quality checked the products tick the 'QLT Check' box

  9. Once you have label checked the products tick the 'Label Check' box

Once both the 'QLT Check' and 'Label Check' boxes have been ticked the system records who completed these checks and when.

Once this happens it's not possible to make edits to the amounts that made been made or rejected.

Tip: the amount that has been made may sometimes be higher than the planned amount due to extras being made as required.

PCR FAQs

Can I switch between benches when quality checking?

Yes, you can switch between benches when you are quality checking. Your progress is saved each time you do something which means you can switch between benches or even out of the Product Control page altogether and your progress will be recorded.

Why am I not able to tick the label check box?

To ensure the integrity of the checks you are not able to tick the label check box within three minutes of the quality check box being ticked.

How do I PCR hot food?

Hot food can be quality and label checked in the 'On Demand' PCR report.

All hot food products will be automatically assigned to this production.
