Recipe production settings

Updated this week

For production planning to work there are a number of fields which need completing on each recipe.

In the sidebar head to Recipes and search for the recipe you’d like to set. Click ‘Edit’.

On this page you can set:

  • Base sale price ex. tax: What is the sale price of the end product?

  • Preparation Time: How long does it take for someone to prepare one of this product?

  • Recipe Category: Customisable categories

  • Productions: The productions this product can be made in need to be ticked - this is set at a site level as it can vary site to site. You must have your productions set at a site level first, see here for more info. Please note, these fields will only appear when you are viewing as a specific site so ensure you do not have "All Sites" selected in the top left dropdown.

  • Count in stocktake: Must be ticked

  • Minimum Batch Production Size: Minimum number of units that should be made on a single bench during a production.

  • Maximum Batch Production Size: Maximum number of units that can be made on a single bench during a production.

  • Batch Production Multiple: Unit-multiple made on a single bench during a production. For example, items made in pairs should have a batch production multiple of 2.

  • Shelf Life: The amount of time in minutes/hours/days a product has before it expires

  • Closing Range: The quantity of this product that needs to be available as a site is closing.

  • Allow carry over: Ticket if this product can be carried over to the next day

Once you have inputted this information click 'Save Changes'.
