Ending a days production

Once you've completed the Production Completion Report (PCR) for all of the day's production, you can end production for the day. This totals everything that was:

  • Planned

  • Made

  • Rejected

  • Carried over


How to end production

  1. Go to Production > Production Planner

  2. Click 'Plan' for today's date

  3. Click the 'Actions' dropdown

  4. Select 'End todays production'

⚠️ Important: You cannot end production if any products haven't been allocated to a bench.


How to enter carry over numbers

You can log products being carried over to the next day when ending production.

Steps:

  1. Go to Production > Production Planner

  2. Click 'Plan' for the relevant date

  3. Open the 'Actions' dropdown

  4. Select 'End production'

  5. Find the product in the 'Carry Over' column

  6. Enter the quantity you're carrying over

You can see how Carry Over impacts the next days planned quantities here.

πŸ’‘ Note: You can only enter carry over quantities for products that are set up as carry over products on the Recipe Production Settings.

It's not currently possible to log carry over for non-production products, for example batches of sauces that are made to be used within products you plan production of.


How to Review a Day's Production

You can review production totals after ending production for the day.

Steps:

  1. Go to Production > Production Planner

  2. Click 'Plan' for the relevant date

  3. Open the 'Actions' dropdown

  4. Select 'Review production'

You'll see the total number of products that were:

  • Planned

  • Made

  • Rejected

  • Carried over
