Summary
A Franchise Company lets you manage multiple separate companies from one place on the Edify platform. From the Franchise Portal you can access every company you oversee, view and edit their details, add users and sites, and set up brand-new franchises.
Navigating the Franchise Portal
The Franchise Portal is where you'll access all of your franchise companies.
To open a particular company, search for it by name or find it in the table. Click into the company and you'll see its Users, Sites and Company details. From here you can add new users, add sites, or edit the company's details.
The table shows active companies by default. Use the Status button to view inactive companies as well.
Accessing a company as an Admin
If you'd like to access a company with Admin permissions:
Click into the company from the Franchise Portal.
Find the "Franchise Manager" user.
Click "View as".
When you're ready to switch to a different company, click the green user symbol in the bottom left. This takes you back to the Franchise Portal.
When you "View as" the Franchise Manager, you'll have Admin permissions for that company. This means you can view any site and complete any action available in the platform.
Setting up a new company within a Franchise
You can create new franchise companies directly from the Portal:
Click "Create Franchise".
Enter the company's name.
Click into the new company to add users and sites and complete its company details.
