PDF from Google Drive
To add a PDF file to your lesson, first open Google Drive and right-click on the PDF file you want to share. Select "Get link" from the contextual menu and set General Access to "Anyone with the link." Copy the link and paste it into the template. Then, click "Save" and the PDF will appear in the classroom preview.
Warning:
If you delete the file from Google Drive or restrict access, it will no longer display in your lesson.
PDF files are for viewing only and cannot be edited on Edvibe.
Pro tip:
To allow your students to complete exercises from PDF worksheets on Edvibe, save the worksheet as a PNG or JPEG file and upload it to the interactive whiteboard in a virtual classroom. This will allow students in the classroom to type and draw on the image.
Miro Board
If you are using a Miro board during your online lessons, you can directly integrate it into the lesson. First, open the required board in Miro and click on the Share button. Then, copy the board link with the appropriate access rights (view, comment, or edit).
Next, paste this link into the Miro board template and include a description if necessary.
Warnings:
Please note that Miro has updated its rules for publishing boards on external websites, and embedding a link to the board into the lesson is only possible if you have a paid subscription to Miro.
Miro only works in preview mode on Edvibe. To edit the board, you will still need to access it from the Miro website.
Pro tip:
Edvibe has its own interactive whiteboard that you may consider using instead of Miro for smoother interaction.
Wordwall
You can integrate your desired exercise from Wordwall into your lesson by following these steps:
Go to the exercise you want to use in Wordwall and click on "Embed" under the exercise window.
Make sure that the "iframe" option is selected in the Type column.
Select "English" as the Language before copying the link. If you choose any other language, you won't be able to paste the link into the Edvibe template.
Copy the code provided by Wordwall and paste it into the Edvibe template.
Save the exercise and it will be added to your lesson.
Warning: As Wordwall is a third-party app, synchronization between you and your students will not work with this template. If you need to follow your students' progress, consider using one of Edvibe's native templates or ask a student whose progress you want to follow to share their screen.
Pro tip: This template works best as part of self-check homework.
LearningApps
To integrate an exercise from LearningApps into your lesson, first select the desired template and open the exercise. Then, copy the "Share" link provided under the exercise and paste it into the designated field in the Edvibe template. Save the exercise to add it to your lesson.
Note that LearningApps is a third-party application, and therefore, any synchronization between you and your students will not work with this template. If you need to follow your students' progress, consider using one of Edvibe's native templates or asking a student to share their screen.
Pro tip: This template is great for assigning self-paced practice exercises.
