To create a test, simply add questions and their corresponding answer options. You can add as many answer options as you like by clicking on the Add an option button, or add more questions by clicking on Add a question. Mark the boxes next to the correct answers to enable automatic checking of the test (you may mark multiple boxes if there is more than one correct answer).
Leave the boxes unmarked if you want to check the test manually.
Drag and drop the "=" icon to change the position of questions or answers. Press "x" to delete questions or answers.
Test with timer
To enable the timer feature, open the Additional settings tab and toggle it on. You can set the time limit for up to 90 minutes. Next, type in the questions and check the boxes for the correct answers. Keep in mind that this type of test only works with automatic answer checking.
When students want to complete this exercise in their virtual classroom, they or their teacher will need to start the test. Once the test is started, the timer will activate, and students will see the questions. The test will be automatically checked when the student clicks "Finish the test" or when the time runs out. After that, students will see the correct answers and their statistics.
Test with scoring
By default, students receive 1 point for each correct answer in a timed test. However, if you wish to customize the scoring system, enable the Scoring system feature in Additional Settings. A dropdown list with numbers will appear on the left side of the questions. You can choose the number of points that students will receive for each correct answer, up to a maximum of 5 points. The final result will appear in their statistics once they have completed the test.
Pro tips
You may leave the question field empty. This will save you time if there is only one question for all the sets of options in the test (e.g. choose the odd word).
Use tests with disabled automatic answer checking for surveys, opinion polls and student feedback.
First add the required number of options (for each new question the number will be the same as the previous one), then add the required number of questions, after that fill in the fields. You can quickly switch between the fields with Tab key.
Create a test with a timer or disable the automatic checking if you want your students to have more than one attempt to choose the answers.
