Tired of creating lessons yourself and wasting a lot of time? The platform has an AI-assistant that will become your faithful companion.
The AI-assistant is a chat-bot with artificial intelligence that processes user requests and generates a response text.
On the platform it can be found in the preview and edit mode. It is available to all users: individual or school teachers and online course authors.
Open it by clicking the button on the right side of the screen when the template list is open. To close the AI-Assistant, click the same button.
Although the most accurate results are generated in English, The bot currently supports 95 languages and constantly learning. Whatever language you decide to use for your request, don't forget to proofread the response. Although very advanced, AI is still a software with its limits.
How does the assistant work?
To use the assistant, you need to type a specific request. The bot then generates a response based on your request and its interpretation of the language and context.
The AI assistant will help you come up with or adapt any text to the language level, student interests, and platform templates. Let's take a closer look at examples of how to do this.
Templates: Fill in the Gaps/Fill in the gaps from the box
If you're working with vocabulary, try typing the requests like: Write a text using the words:... or Write sentences about .... using the words: ... and a list of the lesson's active vocabulary.
The same approach works for grammar.
Example request: Write 8 sentences in Present Continuous.
All you have to do is to put the required language units in the brackets to create gaps with them. Or ask the bot to do that for you: Write 8 sentences in Present Continuous, put the auxiliaries+verbs in []
Template: True or False
You can get help from the AI-assistant even with this template.
Example request: Make true or false sentences for the text: ... and copy your text (for better results we recommend to stick to shorter texts, 700 words or less). The artificial intelligence will not only generate sentences, but it will also mark which of them are true and which are false.
The AI assistant can generate sentences on a given topic from scratch and immediately mark true or false.
For example: Write 5 true and false sentences about smartphones for upper-intermediate level learners.
The AI assistant can generate such sentences for different levels, the more specific request you type, the more precise result you get.
Templates: Test or Choose the correct option
In this case, the AI assistant can:
generate questions with answer options based on the text;
mark the correct choices in the generated questions with options;
make up quizzes on different topics for your students;
mark the correct answers and write questions based on your student's level.
Example request: Write 3 multiple-choice questions about food for elementary learner and mark the correct answers
An example request for quizzes is Write 5 questions for quiz about Avatar movie. Give 3 answer options. Mark the correct one
You will end up with 5 questions that you can put into a test template.
Template: Article, text or writing
In this template, the AI assistant can:
Write a text on any topic and with a specified number of characters.
Adapt the text to your student's level. Example request: "Rewrite the text for pre-intermediate learner" + insert text.
Make up questions on the content of your text.
Rewrite a text.
Write a summary of the content of the inserted text.
Create a script to record audio on the topic you want and in the format you want. For example, a podcast, interview, radio program, etc.).
Find and correct errors in the input text.
Generate texts in different styles. For example, a blog post, a magazine article, or an essay.
Generate sample monologues for your students' oral responses.
Write sample answers to questions.
Make samples of written work for international exam formats (IELTS, FCE, CAE, etc.).
The assistant can also come up with questions about the content of the text.
Example request: Write 5 questions for the text: ... + your text.
