Open "Article, Text or Writing" template and select "Writing" in the drop-down list.
This template adds an editable text field to your lesson. When configuring the exercise, you can upload a cover picture or add a heading to the text field. In a virtual classroom, you and your students can see each other's inputs in real-time. The template includes character and word counters, making it easier to check exercises with word limits.
Pro tips:
You can use the Side notes toggle to check and comment on your students' writing. Make sure to inform them about this feature and that your comments will appear there.
If you teach asynchronously, you can use this template to comment on your students' performance in other exercises. Simply place it after the exercise you want to comment on and title it "For Teacher's Comments." You can also use the "Recording" template in a similar way.
