Exercises for choosing the correct option from a drop-down list

Updated over a year ago

To create an exercise using this template, type the text in the designated field. Enclose all possible options within [brackets] and use forward slashes (/) to separate each option. If you want to enable automatic checking, mark the correct answer with an asterisk (*).

During the exercise, students will see drop-down lists containing the possible answer options. If automatic checking is enabled, students will have up to three attempts to select the correct answer.

Examples:

They [is/was/were*/are] on holiday yesterday. - 'were' is the correct answer.

My favourite dessert is [ice cream/chocolate/cake]. - Automatic checking is disabled.

Warning: only one correct answer is possible for this template. If you put * in more than one place, the system will only react to the first one.
