Where do I find my EAN?

Learn why and how to add your unique EAN code

Updated over 2 years ago

For home and work locations, you can add the EAN code.

What's an EAN code?

This is a unique code used by energy providers to identify the 'delivery point' for your electricity. This is linked to a specific location and does not change if you switch energy providers.

Why is it needed?

If possible, we use this code to automatically fill in your energy rates. Please note that this is not possible for all locations or energy providers. You can always choose 'skip' when this is asked in the setup flow.

Where do I find this?

Most often, you can find this code:

  • On the invoice from your energy provider

  • On the side of the energy meter itself
(Please note this is NOT the same as the meter number itself)

  • By calling your regional grid operator
