Everything you need to know about Groups

What are they and how can you use them.

Groups will allow you to divide your entity in structures you currently using in your company. Groups are an extension of entities, which are legal company structures with a unique VAT number.

Getting started using groups

  1. Go to Fleet Overview

  2. Click ✎ Set up entities and groups

  3. Select the entity you want to create a group for. A side panel will open.

    1. If there are no groups yet, click Create first group.

    2. If there are already groups created, click View all groups.

How to add a driver to a group

There are multiple ways to make sure a driver is linked to a group.

Add a driver to a group via the invite flow

The invite flow is extended with a dropdown list for groups.

This dropdown is only visible if at least one group is present within the selected entity. You will need to create a group before you are able to add or move a driver to a group via the side panel.

Add a driver to a group via your Fleet Overview

  • Tap the ✎ of the driver, or select the driver and click edit, you want to add to a group or when you want to move the driver to another group. A side panel will open and you will be able to select or modify the group.

  • Go to ✎ Set up entities and groups - Select the entity - View all groups. Tap ✎ Edit.

Things to keep in mind when creating groups

  1. Every group needs to have a unique name.

  2. Every (sub)group needs a unique name within the same level of the same entity.

  3. A subgroup can be named the same as another subgroup if is not added to the same group.

  4. A driver can only belong to one (sub)group.

  5. A driver is not required to be added to a group.

  6. You can create up to 2 levels of groups (groups and subgroups).
