What are entities
Entities are legal company structures with a unique VAT number. You can create entities in EEVEE and assign drivers to them. The charging costs will then be invoiced to the right legal entity.
Every fleet in EEVEE Business will have one primary entity which is created automatically based on the company information itself. From now on you will be able to add as many as needed yourself.
Creating an entity
Creating an Entity is quick and straightforward. Simply follow these steps:
Log in to your EEVEE Business account.
Go to the Fleet Overview.
Make sure you are in the Drivers-tab.
Click on the "Add entity" button.
Fill in the required data.
Save your entity and you're ready to start managing and organising your fleet in an even better way.
Adding Drivers to an Entity
Go to the Fleet Overview.
Make sure you are in the Drivers-tab.
Select the driver you want to add to an entity and click the Edit-button. You can also click the pen-icon (edit) to directly navigate to the edit-screen.
Select the desired entity from the dropdown menu.
Click Save. Your driver is added to the entity of your choice.
Moving drivers between entities
Go to the Fleet Overview.
Make sure you are in the Drivers-tab.
Select the driver you want to move to another entity and click the Edit-button. You can also click the pen-icon (edit) to directly navigate to the edit-screen.
Select the desired entity from the dropdown menu.
Click Save. Your driver is added to the entity of your choice.
Moving a driver to another entity will have an impact on the reimbursement:
All completed reimbursements will remain present in the overview of the initial entity.
All open reimbursements will be moved to the new entity and will be invoiced on it.
Filtering drivers by entity
As soon as drivers are added to an entity you will be able to filter on them via the Fleet Overview - Drivers.
Removing an entity
An entity can be removed by opening it and clicking the trash-icon in the bottom right corner. A confirmation window will be shown if you are sure you want to remove the entity.
If an entity still has drivers linked to it they will be reassigned to the default entity. The default entity is marked with a ⭐️.
You can only remove entities that are not marked as default. If you want to remove an entity that is currently your default, you will first need to mark another one as the default entity before the trash-icon becomes visible.
