Maybe a guest is suddenly having trouble with their internet connection, maybe you want them to ask a specific question, or quickly re-center themselves in frame. There are hundreds of reasons a host or producer might need to communicate with broadcast guests privately during a live event, and that's where Guest Chat comes in.
Guest Chat is a text-based chat that is only viewable to Effi users and guests. The audience watching your stream will not be able to see private chat messages.
Guest chat can be found by clicking on the chat icon at the bottom left of the studio. Guests will be able to access Guest Chat the same way.
📌 while messages in Guest Chat won't be visible to the audience, they will be visible to everyone in Effi including all the guests in the greenroom or backstage.
