What does backstage mean?

Once an event goes live, all guests in the greenroom will be moved to backstage while they wait for their scene to go live.

The Greenroom contains a series of states based on the status of the broadcast. Before the broadcast has begun, you will join what's called the Greenroom. Once the broadcast has started, the Greenroom will be in a new state called Greenroom- Backstage.

Greenroom - Backstage

Once the broadcast is live, you will be backstage as you wait for your scene to go live. This state of the Greenroom will be indicated at the top of the screen as well as on badges on your video.

Once your scene is live, you will see "Live" at the top of the screen as well as a "Live" badge on your video. This way you'll know when the audience can see you. Everyone else in the Greenroom will also be able to see when you are live.

πŸ“ You don't have to do anything to move from the regular Greenroom to Greenroom-Backstage. This transition happens automatically as soon as the broadcast goes live.
