There are many reasons why you might need to communicate with the host, producer, or another guest during the broadcast. Maybe you need to step away for a moment and don't want an empty chair on screen when your scene goes live. Perhaps you're being notified about a weak internet connection and need to restart your router. Or maybe you just have a question about an upcoming segment. Whatever the reason, Effi allows you to communicate privately with others involved in the broadcast—without the audience hearing or seeing these chats.

That’s where Private Chat comes in. This feature enables you to send text-based messages to other guests and those managing the broadcast. These messages are visible to everyone backstage, but not to the audience, making it an easy way to share important updates or questions.

To message the producer operating Effi, simply open the Private Chat icon and send your message directly to Stage (where the broadcast is being produced).

They can respond to you in the same way, ensuring smooth communication throughout the event.
