Each time you add something like an element, image, or guest a new corresponding layer will be added to the panel. Layers make it easy for you to see everything in your scene and navigate between them during the broadcast.

When you want to remove something from a scene, you will have to delete its corresponding layer. To do that, follow the steps below.

Select the scene you want to remove the element from, and open the Layers & Scene Settings menu by clicking the layers icon on the right-hand panel.

Under Layers, you'll see all the elements and you have in your scene. Find the one you want to remove and select the kabob menu.

From the list of options, select "Delete." You will be asked to confirm, and then you will see the element you chose disappear from the list of Layers.

Removing elements isn't the only way to keep viewers from seeing them. Another option is to click the eye icon next to the element to hide it until you're ready to show it. For example, if you have a series of polls you want in a scene but you only want to show one at a time.

Lastly, similar to photo editing software, you can also layer elements in Effi. So if you want to hide some elements behind others you can do that as well by dragging them in the order you want in the Layers menu. The Layers feature was built to make it easy for you to navigate your scenes and produce your broadcast seamlessly. So find what's most comfortable for you and run with it.
