Not only do layers show you everything you've added to a scene, they also show you what order those elements are in. Think of it in terms of image designers like Photoshop or Canva. You are able to change the order by choosing a position: move to front, move to back, etc.

Layers work in the same way. For example, if you plan to do a round of trivia an the questions need to be in a specific order. You'll likely need to make sure those polls are layered in the proper order in order to make it easier to navigate between them.

In most cases, you will likely arrange your scenes so that everything has its place, but if you need to re-order, just drag and drop the layers where you want to change their position.

Let's take a step-by-step look at how to do that.

First step is to select the scene you'd like to order the layers on and open the Layers and Scene menu by clicking the Layers icon on the right-hand panel.

Now you should be able to see all the layers you have in your scene.

Using the trivia questions as our example, you can see that we have four questions we want to use, but they are clearly not in the right order. If we were to leave them this way, it would be a problem because our audience would see question three before question one.

Thankfully, all we have to do to fix it is drag them in and place them in the correct order.

By recording the layers, each time you are finished with a trivia question. You are able to hide it, and the next one in the order will be visible.

Reordering layers can be helpful in a myriad of situations from polls, like we just saw, to simple design elements like logos and overlays. You can manipulate them the way you like to make your scenes perfect for every event.
