Understanding your account settings and where to find them is going to be super important on your Effi journey. That's where you'll be able to make important changes to things like your email and display name and also where you will be able to add members to your team.
Accessing your account settings is simple. From the dashboard, or anywhere in Effi, click on the Effi logo at the top left corner to access the menu.
Choose "Account Settings" from the list of options.
Once you click, you will be taken to your Account Settings page where you will have access to things like organization details, personal preferences, security settings, etc. The pages as well as the options will look a little bit different depending on what your role is.
Owners
Owners create and set up the organization for their teams and have access to everything. As an Owner, your Account Settings are made up of two pages: Organization & Preferences.
Starting with the Organization page, let's take a look at a breakdown of settings.
General
This is where you will fill out all of the general details for your organization like your company logo, website, etc.
Members
This is where you will be able to view all the members of your team and invite new ones.
Payout Preferences
If your organization also uses Streamocracy , then as an owner you will see Payout Preferences on your Organization page. Payout preferences is where you will be able to connect a bank account using Stripe so you can begin withdrawing donations collected during livestreams using Streamocracy.
Now that we've covered the Organization page for Owners, it's time to move onto the Preferences page. This is where you access and control all your personal settings.
Personal Details
Here you can change personal details like your username, timezone, etc.
Security Options
This is where you can change your password and secure your account with two-factor authentication.
Admins
For Admins, your Account Settings will look almost identical to the Owner settings above except you will not have access to Payout Preferences.
Members
Unlike Owners and Admins, Members will only see a single page in Account Settings called Account Details.
Just like Owners and Admins, Members have access to change their Personal Details and Security Options. The only difference here is really in the Organization portion of the page.
For Members, they will be able to view Organization details like name and other members, but there will not be able to make any changes.
