Effi Studio is a full-service production suite where you can create, manage, build, and design events, stream events to multiple platforms at once, produce your event from a single browser URL, and manage guests. That's right, you can do all of this in Effi. Below you will find a brief overview of where all the magic happens.
Dashboard
The dashboard is where users will manage their events, access and change their account settings, and view analytics.
Account Settings: Click here to access your Account Settings where you can view and modify your preferences and manage your team members.
Analytics: Clicking this icon will open up your analytics dashboard. You will be able to see how your events performed and much more.
Event Card: Every new event you create will have its own event card. Each card shows you an overview of your event information like title, owner, and when it was streamed. You will also see a menu with some quick options where you can rename, share, delete, and duplicate your event.
Connected Platforms: The event card will also show you which platforms you have connected as stream destinations. For example, in the image above it's showing that YouTube has been connected.
Event sorting: If you have a lot of events, you may want to sort them by most recent or alphabetically.
Create New Event: Click here to create a new event.
Help & Support: Need help? Click the icon to access the help center or chat with an agent who can answer your questions and provide support.
Stage
This is where users will spend most of their time. Stage is where you build, design, stream, and produce all live events.
Layers: See all the elements you’ve added to a scene and gain easy access to their settings.
Elements: Add elements to your event like polls, chat, meters, images, text, QR codes, and more.
Media Library: Store and upload media like images and gifs to add to your scenes.
Event Settings: Change the name and resolution of your event and share it with team members.
Help: Easy access to our help center articles and support from a member of the Effi team.
Scenes: Scenes are used to build out your event. That's where you’ll add guests, elements, and more.
Add New Scene: Click to add a new scene to your event. Add as many as you’d like and drag to re-order.
Private chat: This is how you will be able to chat privately with your guests. Viewers will not be able to see messages in Private Chat.
Guests: Opens your guest panel. You will be able to invite guests, view guests, and remove guests from this panel.
Effi Logo: Click the logo to return to your dashboard.
Stream Destinations: See all the platforms you’re streaming to and add new ones.
Audience Chat: Where you will be able to see all incoming chat messages the audience are typing in from all the platforms you are streaming to. If you have added Chat, this is also where you will be able to moderate it.
Set Destination: This button will take you to the Destinations Menu, just like #11. Once you've connected at least one platform, this button will switch to your "Start Streaming" button.
Show scene: Make a scene and its elements viewable to your audience.
Scene Preview: This window shows you exactly what will be included in your scene. When the scene is live, this will be what your viewers see.
Greenroom
The Greenroom is for your invited guests. It's where they will be for the duration of your event.
1 & 2. Guest Video Feeds: All guests in the Greenroom will be able to see each other.
3. Muted: When guests are muted, this icon will appear next to their name.
4. Connection Quality: Allows guests to monitor the quality of their connection. If their internet is slow or slowing down at any point in the stream they will notice fewer bars and get help to try and improve the connection.
5. Guest Chat: a text-based chat that is only viewable to Effi users and guests. The audience watching your stream will not be able to see private chat messages.
6. Mic Mute/Unmute: where guests can mute/unmute their mics.
7. Camera On/Off: where guests can turn their cameras on and off. Should a guest turn off their camera, they and everyone in the Greenroom will see an avatar in its place.
8. Guest Settings: menu where guests can see their details and change camera and mic sources.
9. Element Live Preview: If there is an element live in the scene like a poll or meter, guests will be able to see it in the Greenroom as well.
10. Audience Chat: guests will be able to see all incoming chat messages from all the platforms you are streaming to.
11. Help: like users, guests will have access to our help center and support from the Effi team.
