Options for availability

When specifying availability, team members have three options:

  • Green: Available all day

  • Red: Unavailable all day

  • Orange: Unavailable at (a) specific time(s)

If someone is sick, you will recognize this by the emoticon. If someone is on leave, you will see a purple dot. Here you can read how to report someone sick and how to submit a leave request. A blue dot means that this team member is scheduled for that day.

Is your availability the same each week? Read how to create an availability template here.

Availability via the web version

Team members can submit availability on their profile. To do so, move the mouse over 'Team' and click on 'My profile'.

⚠️ Note: Keep in mind that you cannot see when a team member submitted or adjusted their availability.

By clicking on the dots below each day, the status can be adjusted.

💡 Tip: You can also adjust several days at once by selecting multiple dots.

Team members can also enter the desired number of workdays in the week on this page. This way they indicate the number of days they want to work per week. Read more about it here.

Availability via the app

  1. Go to 'Requests' in the menu in the left top corner.

  2. Click on 'Availability'.

  3. At the top of the screen, select the week for which you want to submit availability.

  4. Click on the day for which you want to change the status.

  5. Select the desired status.

  6. Add a comment.

⚠️ Note: It may be mandatory to add a comment when selecting the status 'Unavailable', depending on the settings.

Availability as Admin or Manager

If you have the role of Manager or Admin, you can view and adjust the availability status of your team members. You can do this in their profile or by going to 'Planning' > 'Availability'. On top of that Admins and Managers can overrule all the settings for availability.
