Our goal is to make gymnastics competitions accessible to everyone — from spectators and organisers to active participants — using nothing more than a mobile phone and an internet connection. For this reason, Elevien is available on both mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and as a web application for desktop and laptop use. Functionality is optimised differently depending on the platform and on the role you have within the app.
Audience role
If you want to follow a competition as a member of the audience — view live results, watch videos (if the organiser is recording), or browse past competition results — this is supported via the mobile app and the Results portal (results.elevien.com). The web app is optimised for competition management, while the mobile app and Results portal are optimised for viewing competitions.
Organisers can set competitions as either public or private, which affects how you can access them:
Public competitions are visible to all Elevien users and can be found directly in the mobile app, both live and after completion.
Private competitions are accessible only to users who receive a direct link from the organiser.
If you know a competition is being run on Elevien but cannot find it in the app, it is likely set to private. In that case, contact the organiser to request the access link.
Gymnast role
Organisers can open athlete registration directly within the app. Gymnasts can register themselves, or be registered by coaches or club officials. If a competition is private, you will need a registration link provided by the organiser. Note that the registration link and the competition viewing link are different.
If you are participating in a hybrid or online competition, you can record your routine directly in the Elevien mobile app using your phone’s camera. To do this you must be registered for the competition, have a valid Elevien account, and have your account linked to the correct phone number. When recording is enabled, a camera icon appears in the lower-right corner of the app. If you do not see it, contact the organiser — the phone number on your account may be incorrect.
Recorder role
A Recorder records routines for other gymnasts at the venue and manages those uploads. This is useful when one person films multiple athletes; the competition admin assigns the recording device to the relevant gymnasts.
Judge role
Judges can score competitions using either the mobile app or the web app. In the mobile app, the judging workflow is organised by subdivisions and rotations, based on the apparatus you are assigned to judge. Judging lists are generated from the published schedule; gymnasts not assigned to a subdivision appear at the end under “Unscheduled”. Judges or administrators can adjust the start order on site, on mobile and web.
When judging via the web app, filters let you sort by starting order, filter by recorded / not recorded, and filter by scored / not scored routines.
Supervisor judge
A Supervisor is a judge with the S role on an apparatus. In addition to scoring, a Supervisor oversees the panel and can approve final scores and export results. Supervisor is a judge type, not a separate account role.
Admin role
Competition administrators have full access on both mobile and web. They can add or remove gymnasts, assign judges, edit scores, modify competition settings, and record and upload videos. On the mobile app, score editing and video uploads are available through the individual performance screen. In the web app, scores can be edited from the Edit Scores view on the Results page; there admins can delete videos but not upload them (video uploads are supported only in the mobile app).
Owner
The Owner is the account that created the competition. The Owner has everything an Admin has, and is the only one who can delete the competition.
