Take an Pre Order (tablet or POS)

Overview

This guide shows how to create, manage, and process pre orders using Future Tabs.

Step 1: Start the Order

  • Select items as normal

  • Add everything to the basket

Step 2: Create the Pre Order Tab

  • Tap Send to Tab

  • Enter the customer name

  • Add any details in the Notes field

  • Add Arrival Date and Time in the Schedule section

  • Tap Create

Step 3: Find the Tab

  • Go to Open Tabs

  • Tap Future Tabs on the right

  • Your scheduled tab will appear here


Step 4: Take Payment in Advance (Optional)

  • Tap Checkout

  • Take payment by Card, Cash, or Online

  • To take payment online, share the Receipt Link via SMS or Email

  • 💡 In Live Order Manager → Scheduled, you can see if the tab is Paid or Unpaid

Step 5: When the Customer Arrives

  • Go to Future Tabs

  • Search for the correct tab

  • Tap Send to Kitchen

Step 6: What Happens Next

  • The order moves to Live Order Manager → New

  • It appears on the Live Screen

  • The ticket prints automatically

  • Service continues as normal
