You will need to be the director of a company to sign up to Emerge. You can create a company at the Companies Register
What if I am not on the companies register but run a company. Can I still create an Emerge account?
We currently don’t allow for nominee directors or shareholders to create accounts. We will be working on this in the future.
I have a company on NZBN but can’t find it on Emerge. What should I do?
Business results are pulled from the Companies Register. If you can’t find your business, make sure your filings are up to date and are still active on the Companies Office. Also, make sure you are using your registered or trading name. If you still can’t find your company, you can update your details on the Companies Office here https://companies-register.companiesoffice.govt.nz/
