Empowered uses a trial-to-subscription billing model. Here is how it works:

When you sign up, you start with a short trial (for example, 7 days for $7.99). The trial end date and renewal terms are included in your confirmation email.

Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your membership automatically renews into a monthly plan (for example, $39.99/month).

You are charged once at the start of each billing period. You can see the charge date and amount in your original confirmation email.
