How to Connect Your Shopify Shop to ENDVR

Request your ENDVR app and install it in Shopify, so ENDVR can create your discount codes, track redemptions and sync your products.

Connecting your Shopify shop lets ENDVR create discount codes in your own shop, show which ones were redeemed and what they sold, and keep a synced copy of your products (the Product Catalog).

ENDVR sets up the connection for you: you send a short request, and our team takes care of the rest.

👤 Who can connect a shop

Brand owners and admins can request a connection. Other brand members can see the integration but can't change it (they'll see a message asking them to contact an Owner or Admin).

🔗 How to connect your Shopify shop

Step 1 - Request your ENDVR app

Go to Brand Settings > Integrations > Shopify. The card says "We set up the connection for you." Click Request ENDVR App.

Step 2 - Send your request

In Your Shopify shop, paste your Shopify admin link, your shop’s website, or your .myshopify.com address. ENDVR finds the shop and confirms it.

If you have other shops (for example one for another country, or an outlet), choose Yes, I Have Others and add each one. We set them up in the same request.

Tick the box to agree to the ENDVR Data Processing Agreement, then click Send Request.

Step 3 - We set it up

Your Integrations card now shows We’re preparing your ENDVR app, with your request number and four stages: Requested, Being Prepared, Ready to Install and Connected.

The install link usually arrives within 1 business day. If ENDVR needs a detail from you, it appears on the card and is emailed to you. You can Cancel Request any time before you install.

While you wait, you can keep building campaigns. Rewards that create Shopify codes save as drafts and launch once your shop is connected.

Step 4 - Install the app from the email

You'll receive an email with an install link. Click Install on Shopify in the email or on the Integrations page. Anyone who can install apps in your Shopify admin can do it, and they don’t need an ENDVR login.

Sign in to the shop, review what ENDVR can access, then click Install. The link only works for the shop in your request. You’ll land back in ENDVR with the shop connected.

Step 5 - Check your connection

The Integrations page lists every connected shop, who connected it, when its redemptions were last checked, and how many rewards and campaigns use it.

💡 Good to know

  • One shop belongs to one brand. If another brand tries to link the same shop, they'll see an error.

  • Disconnecting shows how many rewards and campaigns use the shop first. Codes already handed out keep working at checkout.

  • Your customers' data stays in Shopify. ENDVR never requests customers' names, emails, phone numbers, addresses or payment details. A code already identifies the associate who earned it.

  • Retailers connect a store's POS the same way, from the store's POS tab in Retailer Web. See Point of Sales Integration.

🔄 If ENDVR loses access to your shop

If the ENDVR app is uninstalled in Shopify, or access expires, the shop's row shows Reconnect needed, a banner appears on campaigns that use it, and Admins get an email.

Codes already handed out keep working at checkout, but ENDVR can't create new codes or track redemptions until you reconnect.

Click Reconnect Shop on the shop’s row. Reconnecting installs the app again, and nothing is lost.

❓ Troubleshooting

What you see

What to do

I sent my request but haven't received the install email

While the card says Being Prepared, there’s nothing to do. The link arrives within 1 business day of your request. After that, check your spam folder.

The Integrations row says "Reconnect needed", with banners on campaigns that use the shop

See "If ENDVR loses access to your shop" above.

A campaign moved to Action Required while it was under review because the shop disconnected

Reconnect the shop. The campaign goes back to Under Review.

The row shows Paused (Shopify froze or locked the shop)

Nothing to do in ENDVR. Resolve it in Shopify and ENDVR recovers by itself.

Shopify says “You don’t have permission”

Forward the email to someone who can install apps in your Shopify admin.

A red shop card shows the time the catalog sync failed

Click Retry on that shop.

➡️ What's next

Once your shop is connected, you can generate discount codes in Shopify for your rewards and use your Product Catalog.
