What is the Text question?

This is a simple question where respondents can respond to a question in a text box.

Difference between a "Text" and "Text Area" Questions?

The "Text" and "Text Area" questions are very similar. The biggest difference between the two is that the Text question is designed for shorter answers whereas the "Text Area" question are designed for longer answers.

1. Name your Engagement and Add a Question

Create a new engagement and give it a name. You can also add a description if you want more detail. You can always change this later.

Next, we will add our question! Click on the “Add Question” button.

2. Select your Question Type

Click the “Text” button.

3. Add a Title and an Optional Description and Image for your Question

--> Add the title and description (optional) for your question as per bubble 1.

--> You can also add an image in the question as per bubble 2.

Once you're done with the above, scroll down to preview your question and click "Save".

That's it. Congratulations on creating your Text question.

4. Activating you Engagement

Go to the "Share" tab, click on "Mark as active", and copy the link by clicking the button near bubble 3. Now paste the link in new tab and hit go.

5. What does the Text Question look like?

The respondent can use the text box to answer the question and then click on Submit to complete the Engagement or move on to the next question.
