If you're looking for a safe, effective way to brighten your smile, the Enlighten Smiles teeth whitening system might be just what you need. Known for its impressive results and professional application, Enlighten Smiles is a powerful choice for teeth whitening, suitable for people of all ages which provides long-lasting results with the professional support of your dentist.

Who Can Benefit from Enlighten Smiles?

Enlighten Smiles is designed to work on any healthy natural teeth, so whether you have slightly yellowed teeth or need a more extensive whitening treatment, it can deliver noticeable improvements. However, it’s important to know that Enlighten Smiles might not be the right choice for the following cases:

  • Dental Restorations: If you have crowns, veneers, implants or other restorations (essentially, “fake” teeth), they won’t whiten the same way natural teeth will. Teeth whitening only works on natural enamel which is why it is important to consider whitening your teeth before you embark on any dental restoration work in case you will ever want to have a whiter smile.

  • Teeth with Receding Gums: If your gums have receded and exposed the dentine (the layer beneath the enamel), whitening these teeth may cause sensitivity or underwhelming results in those areas.

What type of results can I expect from Enlighten?

Stunning pearly white results!

With Enlighten whitening, 98% of patients achieve a bright B1 shade, which is the lightest natural shade. Some patients even achieve results beyond B1, though this cannot be guaranteed. These results are consistent across different ages, diets, and starting tooth shades.

How It Works

Enlighten Smiles offers a simple yet powerful whitening process:

  1. Consultation with a Dentist & attachment placement: Your dentist assesses your teeth and recommends the best teeth whitening course for you. If your dentist determines that the best course of action for your treatment is to proceed with trays that include attachments, they will be placed on your teeth at this stage.

  2. Custom Whitening Trays & Enlighten Serum toothpaste: At this stage you will start brushing your teeth with the Enlighten Serum toothpaste. Custom trays are made to fit your teeth perfectly, ensuring even application and comfort.

  3. At-Home Whitening: Over 14 days, you'll whiten your teeth at night using your custom trays and the Week 1 and Week 2 syringes. Next, you'll switch to daytime whitening with the Week 3 syringe doing one hour per day.

  4. Introducing the Enlighten White toothpaste: You start introducing the Enlighten Serum toothpaste to your routine to ensure your teeth remain stain free and they retain their new pearly shade.

  5. Top-up Regime: Over the next 6 months you should top-up once a month whilst keeping your attachments on. After this time, you get them removed then proceed to only top-up once every two months or as needed.

What type of dental cases is Enlighten teeth whitening effective on?

  • Brown stains

  • Tetracycline stains (grey teeth or banding)

  • Non-vital teeth (teeth which have had root removed and root canal done)

  • Yellow or discoloured teeth

  • Fluorosis (white spots on teeth)
