We understand that sometimes, despite your best efforts and our commitment to providing top-quality teeth whitening products, achieving your desired results may not always go as planned. 5% of cases may take a little longer. Most commonly night time tooth grinding is the issue - do your dentist may recommend more daytime whitening.
It is important to understand that we are only able to guarantee B1 shade if the full 3-week course was used as well as our custom-made trays. Please know that we genuinely care about your experience and are here to support you every step of the way. We want to reassure you that your satisfaction is our priority, and we will do everything in our power to assist you.
Your Dentist's Role
It's important to remember that we are the manufacturer of the teeth whitening product, and your dental professional plays a crucial role in assessing your unique dental situation and prescribing the best course of action. In the United Kingdom, dental treatments are governed by strict regulations that require a dental professional's involvement in your teeth whitening process. This means that in order to assess and fix your case, you will need to contact your dentist.
What to Do If You Haven't Achieved Your Desired Results
If, after using our teeth whitening product, you find that you haven't achieved the guaranteed B1 shade that was expected, we recommend taking the following steps:
1. Contact Your Dentist
Your first point of contact should be your trusted dentist who initially assessed your case and prescribed the treatment. Reach out to them to discuss your results and concerns. They will be able to assess your current teeth shade accurately.
2. Dental Assessment
Your dentist will conduct a thorough assessment of your teeth shade to determine if it matches the expected B1 shade. If it does not, your dentist will either provide additional guidance for further treatment or contact us if they have any doubts or questions about why the treatment didn't yield the desired outcome.
3. Our Commitment to Helping
In the event that your dentist contacts us, please know that we are here to help. We are more than willing to collaborate with your dental professional to understand any challenges or issues that may have arisen during your teeth whitening journey. From their clinical knowledge of your personal case and our experience of over half a million cases, between us we should be able to come up with a solution for you.
We understand that not achieving your desired results can be disappointing, but please rest assured that you are not alone in this process. Your dentist is your primary partner in your dental care journey, and we are here to support both you and your dental professional in any way we can.
I am unhappy with my results, I contacted my dentist but they are not helping me
If you are struggling to get a response from your dentist, we can try to help you. However, in order to do so, we will need you to consent in writing to us contacting your dental practice on your behalf. If that is the case, please email us on customerservice@enlightensmiles.com, explain the situation and state that you wish we help you contacting your dentist as you are struggling to get a response from them.
Please note that we are not able to send extra gels, offer refunds or deal directly with patients. In the UK, only a GDC registered dentist can legally carry out dental examinations, assess and prescribe professional teeth whitening gels. Anyone else doing so would be in breach of UK regulations.
