NHL Pick’em (EO) – Edit Contest Setting --> Scoring Settings

The Scoring Settings section allows commissioners to control how points are awarded in their NHL Pick’em contest and how those points are displayed to participants.

Key Settings Explained

Points Per Win

  • Set how many points each correct pick is worth

  • Example: 1 point per correct pick

  • You can increase this value depending on how you want scoring to work

Hide Points Column

  • Toggle to show or hide the points column on the leaderboard

  • Useful if all wins are equal (e.g., 1 point per win) and you want a cleaner display

When enabled:

  • The leaderboard will focus on wins/losses instead of total points

Important Notes

  • Changing points per win may impact standings and scoring outcomes

  • Display settings (like hiding points) only affect visibility, not scoring itself

  • Some scoring changes may be limited after the contest begins

Key Reminder

Scoring Settings allow you to customize both how your contest is scored and how results are displayed—be sure to align these settings with how you want your contest to be viewed by participants.
