NHL Team Survivor (EO) – Overview

NHL Team Survivor is a Self-Managed (Entertainment-Only) contest format where participants select one team per slate (day or week) to win. If their team wins, they advance. If not, they are eliminated.

How It Works

  • Each participant selects one team per slate

  • If the selected team wins, the participant advances

  • If the team loses, ties, or no pick is made, the participant is eliminated

  • The contest continues until:

    • One participant remains (winner takes all), or

    • All remaining participants are eliminated in the same slate (split pot scenario)

Key Rules

  • One Pick Per Slate
Participants can only select one team each round

  • Team Use Limits
In most contests, teams can only be used once per entry

  • No Pick = Elimination
Missing a pick results in elimination

Why Choose Team Survivor?

  • Simple and easy to understand

  • High-stakes elimination format

  • Builds excitement as the contest progresses

Important Notes

  • This is a Self-Managed (EO) contest

  • Commissioners are responsible for:

    • Collecting entry fees

    • Distributing payouts

Key Reminder

NHL Team Survivor is all about survival—one wrong pick and you're out. Choose wisely each round!
