Create/Edit an Opportunity Workflow

Before you can use an Opportunity, you must first configure a workflow.

To do this, from the menu, navigate to Opportunities > Configure Opportunity Workflows.

To edit an existing workflow, click it's Title.

To create a new workflow, click New within the toolbar.

When creating, first give your workflow a name and description, then click Save.

You'll now be able to add Workflow Stages by clicking Add.

Enter a Stage Name and a Win Probability - this will display as a percentage within the pipeline view. Click Save once done.

Continue adding stages and click Save once you're finished. You'll be able to use your new workflow immediately.


Create/Edit an Opportunity

Start by selecting your desired Opportunity Workflow from the Opportunities menu - this will take you to the Opportunity Pipeline View.

To edit an existing Opportunity, click its Title.

To create a new Opportunity, click Add Opportunity within the toolbar.

Enter all mandatory information and click Save.

πŸ€“ Tip when in the Pipeline View, to move an Opportunity from one stage to the next without editing any information, simply drag and drop!

πŸ€“ Tip to create a quick action, from the Pipeline view, click the Upcoming Actions icon followed by Create Action.


Customising Opportunities

As with most areas of Eploy, the fields displayed within an Opportunity can be customised.

Drop Down Lists

There are two default Drop Down Lists that can be customised - Type and Outcome.

To amend the options available, from the menu, navigate to Admin > Drop Down Lists and select either Opportunity Outcome or Type.

Click New to add a new option or click on the Description to edit an existing item.

πŸ€“ Tip as Actions can be linked to Opportunities, you can also create specific Action Types and Outcomes to use within your Opportunity Workflows.

Custom Fields

Custom Fields can be added to an Opportunity, allowing you to customise the information captured, enabling greater precision and reporting capability.

To add a custom field to your Opportunities, from the menu, navigate to Admin > Customise Fields > Custom Fields.

Begin by creating a new Field Group, then add your new custom fields to that field group.
