Detailed Statistics (Detailed Stats in the app) shows the deeper numbers of a training, such as top speed, tempo and stride length, for the whole training and for each gait. Here's what each number means.
⭐ This is a Premium feature. On the free plan, Detailed Stats on a training shows a preview with sample numbers and a Premium banner. See Start Premium or a free trial.
Open Detailed Statistics
Open the training from the feed on the Home tab, Trends > All trainings, the Calendar tab or Profile > Trainings.
On the Training Summary, scroll down to Detailed Stats.
The numbers for the whole training and for each gait show there.
What Detailed Statistics shows
Detailed Statistics groups the numbers for a training like this:
Speed: average speed, top speed and distance.
Tempo: the Average tempo, the number of strides your horse takes per minute (strides/min).
Transition: the number of times your horse changed gait, including transitions to halt. Changes of speed within the same gait don't count.
Stride: the Average Stride length, how far your horse travels with each stride.
Elevation: a chart of your altitude, and the total distance you traveled uphill.
Each of these numbers is also broken down by gait: walk, trot and canter, plus tölt for horses with the horse type Icelandic Horse.
If you rode with a Polar H10 sensor connected (iPhone only), Detailed Statistics also shows your horse's heart rate. See Track your horse's heart rate with a Polar sensor.
If Detailed Statistics looks wrong
Check these, most common first:
You see sample numbers and a Premium banner: Premium isn't active on the account you're logged in to. See I paid, but Premium isn't showing.
Speed or distance looks wrong: the phone's settings are the most likely cause. See Essential Device & App Settings for Equilab to Work Properly, then The GPS track or distance looks wrong.
The numbers for a gait look wrong: they come from the gaits Equilab detected. If you correct the gaits with Gait Segments, Detailed Statistics updates too. See Some gaits on my ride are wrong.
There's no tölt: tölt is only detected for the horse type Icelandic Horse. See Tölt isn't showing for my gaited horse.
There's no heart rate: connect the Polar sensor before you start tracking. You can't connect it during a training.
If nothing helped, contact support with the date and time of the training and a screenshot of Detailed Stats.
