We've removed the guesswork out of knowing when nurses prefer to work. In the Nurses section of ESHYFT, you can see the shift preferences of all the nurses who have applied to work at your facility.

Shift preferences refer to the days of the weeks and the shift times that nurses prefer to work.

We all nurses to share their preferences, to make it easier for facilities to know what shifts they prefer to work. We remind them regularly to update their preferences, especially if they change often.

You can see a nurse's shift preferences from the Nurses directory in a column titles 'shift preferences'. Or from the 'shift preferences' tab in the nurse profile.

If the nurse has not shared their preferences, you'll see a button to 'request shift preferences'. When you request the nurse to share these preferences, they will get an notified and prompted to share those preferences with you.

You can also chat with the nurse and ask them to share their preferences.

You can use the Filters in the Nurse directory to filter the nurse's shift preferences and find the nurses who are available to pick up a shift for the date/time you need.
