How to Correct a Boolean Search Error?

Why do I see this error?

It means that there is a problem in the way you wrote your Boolean query in Sales Navigator.

LinkedIn doesn't tell you when there is an error in your Boolean but Evaboot does.

If your Boolean is not correctly written:

  1. You won't get the lead you are looking for in your search

  2. Evaboot is not able to run the Lead Filtering algorithm.

How to Fix it?

  1. Make sure you only use AND, OR, NOT as Boolean operators

  2. Make sure all quotes go by pair → " "

  3. Make sure all parentheses go by pair → ( )

Check if you have parenthesis in some of your company names

90% of the time, you see this error because there are parenthesis in some of the company names in your search.

Just add quotes around the company name that have parenthesis or special characters on it.

For example:

Example & friends (Limited Company)

Becomes:

"Example & friends (Limited Company)"
