Central Library

Central library is a repository of files users can reference across all of their matters.

Updated this week

Central library is a repository of files any user can reference across all of their matters. This is the place for organizational context that is not specific to a case, and generally applicable to most cases. This can include legal research, expert materials, or information from their past cases (damages, verdicts, judgments, prior depositions from experts) that they want to use for existing cases.

Who can use Central Library?

Any user can select and use files found in the central library, but only your firm administrators can create and manage those documents for you. Be sure to let them know if there are any updates that need to be made!

Where can I use the files in the Central Library?

You can access you library files in your Matters only. Leads will not use or have access to the library.

Within your Matters, you will find central library files when you are:

  • Drafting from blueprints

  • Running playbooks

  • Talking to Eve

Creating and managing your library collection

You can find your central library on the left hand navigation panel. Click create Collection to begin creation collections of documents.

Once you have a few collections created these folders can be named and you can upload specific files within each collection that can be used in any Matter at any time.

Uploading is pretty easy, just follow the steps.

Upload more files in specific collections as needed.

You can also manage multiple files in your collection of files by removing them in bulk or one at a time.

You can also read your files in the collection screen if they are selected.

Using Collections in your Matters

You can find your collections in your individual Matters just under the chat box right next to Matter Files section, called "Library". Select what you would like to use before asking a question or using on of our skills.

The Library will also show up when you run skills as well for example this Fact Search skill will ask if you want to use what is in your Library alongside your Matter or case files.
