How To Add a Booking

Learn how to add a Booking in Event Temple

A Booking can be added from many areas within Event Temple. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' way, it just depends on your workflow & what information you have at the time of adding the Booking.

This article reviews the basics of creating a Booking in Event Temple. Adding Groups and/or Events is a core component to properly managing your Bookings. Please view the Bookings Collection to better understand how detailed functionalities tie into Bookings.

Once a Booking has been added it can be located in the Bookings List, Pipeline, Calendars & even through the attached Contact and/or Account.

From the Bookings Tab

  1. Select the Bookings tab from the left-hand sidebar

  2. Select New Booking Button at the top of the Bookings page

  3. Fill out relevant fields for your Booking

  4. At the bottom of the fields, select the appropriate checkbox to add a Group or an Event to this Booking if needed.

  5. Follow the steps in the creation wizard

  6. Select Save & Close when complete.

From a Contact That Exists in Event Temple

  1. Open the Contact you wish to create a Booking for

  2. Click on the Bookings subtab within your contact card

  3. Select New Booking Button at the top of the Bookings page

  4. Fill out relevant fields for your Booking

  5. At the bottom of the fields, Select the appropriate checkbox to add a Group or an Event to this Booking if needed.

  6. Follow the steps in the creation wizard

  7. Select Save & Close when complete.

From an Account That Exists in Event Temple

  1. Open the Account you wish to create a Booking for

  2. Click on the Bookings subtab within your contact card

  3. Select New Booking Button at the top of the Bookings page

  4. Fill out relevant fields for your Booking

  5. At the bottom of the fields, Select the appropriate checkbox to add a Group or an Event to this Booking if needed.

  6. Follow the steps in the creation wizard

  7. Select Save & Close when complete.

From the Calendar Tab

  1. Select Calendars on the left-hand sidebar.

  2. Click on Calendar from the drop-down

  3. Click on the day you wish to create a Booking for

  4. Fill out relevant fields for your Booking

  5. At the bottom of the fields, Select the appropriate checkbox to add a Group or an Event to this Booking if needed.

  6. Follow the steps in the creation wizard

  7. Select Save & Close when complete.


Important Considerations About Adding a Booking

It's possible to edit a Booking at any time. After locating the Booking, click on the Booking name. The Booking Summary page will appear and any relevant changes can be made.

Multi-Day Bookings can be added by selecting the relevant Booking Start & End Dates. This article has reviewed the basics of creating a skeletal Booking in Event Temple.
