Answer:
Mews Group Sync
When updating to Tentative or Definite, it will have the option to update the Event Temple Group Status, however, it will not automatically create the Group in Mews as an availability Block. You must edit the Group & select Create on PMS in order for this to occur
When updating to Lost it will automatically change the Group Status to Lost & cancel the Availability Block in Mews. We automatically set the canceled reason as “Other” with a note “Canceled in ET”
Mews Reservations
When updating to Tentative, or Definite, no changes will be made to Reservations.
When updating to Lost you will have the option to Cancel Reservations & whether to charge a cancelation fee. The lost reason selected in Event Temple will be sent to Mews as a cancelation reason.
Note, in order to cancel a Group, you must cancel the Reservations. If you attempt to cancel a Group (ie Mews availability block) without canceling the reservations, you'll be prompted with this notification: Sync To PMS Failed: Cannot Unconfirm availability blocks with assigned operable reservations
